If you are coming from central or south Italy along the Tyrrhenian coast, you can take the A1 until Florence from any point coming from Naples or the A3 from any point between Reggio Calabria and Naples.

From Pistoia to the farmhouse

The bus and train stations in Pistoia are next to one another and situated south of the historic centre in Via Vittorio Veneto. From here you should continue into Via Pacinotti, then turn right over the arch bridge into Via Fiorentina. After about one hundred metres turn right into Via Bonellina and you will get to a roundabout which will, at almost 360°, take you in the direction of Prato. You will pass two big roundabouts and the second one will take you towards the hills by taking the east orbital road, which is to be taken entirely until Viale Antonelli. At the traffic lights, you should turn right following the indications for Baggio and after about 2km you will find on your right a narrow two-arch entrance which will get you to the farmhouse.

If you are coming from the motorway, once you exit the toll booth, turn right in the direction of Prato and when you reach the roundabout follow the instructions as indicated above.
